THE THIN BLUE LINE: WONDERS OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM

I've noticed that some of you are interested in watching the video we started in class about the importance of the atmosphere to our planet, the Earth, which is the only planet in the Solar System where life is possible. To start with, you have a promo with a beautiful song and nice images. I hope you like it!
I'm really sorry to tell you that it was impossible to display the video here, so the only thing I can do, if you're still interested in watching the full video, is to record it for you in a USB and you watch it at home, is that ok? The video's size is 764 mb. I'm sorry guys!

The project will consist on writing a paragraph (please, I don't want it to be very long... and try not to copy everything from the internet, SELECT information) about the ecosystem that you have chosen (forest, desert, etc.). You must describe the non-living things and living things that you can find there, also the relationships between them. You will get a better mark if you use your own words and not copy form the internet! To complete the project, you have to add a picture that you can print or draw by yourselves. Remember to use handwriting (pen) and not computer, ok? To look for information or pictures you can use: google, wikipedia, and also have a look at this:

What was life like in the past?

ENGLISH  5th Grade: We have studied about different events in the past, some characters of history (like Merlin and Arthur), etc. So we are going to make a project in which you will describe what was life in a period that you choose from the past, it can be roman, muslim, middle age, etc; use the internet to help you to find information about it: wikipedia can help you to research for a period. Then select the most important facts and write a paragraph about it, comparing that time with nowadays.Look at the example.

In the middle age, people used to: ride horses, live in castles,  wear armours, etc.

Nowadays people use to: travel by cars, live in flats, wear clothes, etc.

Landscapes of Spain.
